Cientos de personas se manifiestan en Lisboa por “el fin de la masacre” en Palestina

Lisboa, 14 ene (EFE).- Cientos de personas se manifestaron este domingo en Lisboa para pedir “el fin de la masacre” en Palestina, donde la ofensiva israelí contra Gaza ha causado casi 24.000 muertos, de los que el 70% son menores y mujeres.

La marcha, que fue convocada por el Partido Comunista de Portugal (PCP), el Movimiento por los Derechos del Pueblo Palestino (MPPM) y la Confederación General de Trabajadores Portugueses (CGTP), recorrió los tres kilómetros que separan la Embajada de Estados Unidos en la capital lusa, ubicada en la Avenida de las Fuerzas Armadas, a la de Israel, próxima al parque Eduardo VII.

Los participantes, muchos de ellos con banderas y pañuelos palestinos, llevaron pancartas con mensajes que decían "Paz en Oriente Medio-Palestina independiente", "no a la guerra", "no a la masacre" o "intifada hasta la victoria", según los vídeos publicados por el MPPM en su perfil de Instagram.

También cantaron lemas como "Palestina independiente" y "libertad para Palestina".

Este fin de semana se han desarrollado protestas para pedir el fin de los ataques israelíes contra Gaza en distintas partes del mundo, cuando hoy se cumplen 100 días del inicio de la ofensiva de Israel contra la Franja, después del asalto del grupo islamista palestino Hamás contra el territorio israelí el 7 de octubre pasado.
