Animals and humans
Animals and people have amazing abilities. A cheetah can run very fast —up to 100 kilometers per hour— but it can’t swim very well. Birds can fly high in the sky, but they can’t live underwater. A dolphin can swim and jump in the ocean, but it can’t breathe underwater. A kangaroo can jump very high, but it can’t fly. An eagle is a bird; it can fly in the sky and it can see small objects, but it can’t swim underwater. A penguin is also a bird, but it can’t fly; a penguin can swim very fast in cold water. An elephant is very big, it can lift heavy trees, but it can’t jump. Finally, humans can read, write, and use computers, but humans can’t fly like birds or swim and jump in the ocean like a dolphin. Together, we share a world of incredible skills!
